I met Jocelyn through the Virginia Beach Jaycess. I wanted to get deeper involved with The Jaycees and I asked Jocelyn if she needed help with the First Citizen event that goes on every year. I gave her my card so she would have my info. She ended up looking at the site and loved it! She was engaged and immediately contacted me to meet. We talked about what she liked, she showed me her very organized binder (I love when brides have binders!) with all her inspiration photos printed out from Pinterest! Her date was set for December 1, and we planned to do a “Save the Date” session as well as an engagement session. Then one day, Jocelyn called seeming super excited asking to change her engagement date, again! Then she spilled the beans and told me she had just found out that she had a little bun in the oven! So exciting! So, a couple of months later, Chas + Jocelyn decided to have a small, intimate ceremony with family at Red Wing Park. They plan to have their wedding at Lesner Inn next year after their little one is born so that their little man can be in the wedding! I am so looking forward to their event. Jocelyn is one of the sweetest and bubbliest ladies I know and it has been such a joy to create a friendship with her and Chas.

Here are some of the photos from their ceremony at the park. Enjoy!

My beautiful cousin Cassiy graduated from high school! We are all so proud of her. She is an extravagant woman who has faced some struggles in life. A few years ago, she hurt her knee and was unable to do what she loves most: horseback riding. She has a beautiful horse that she takes great care of (with the help of her parents Nani + Jeff) She also has a dog named Captain, who is adorable. Here are some photos of her and a few of her favorite things:

Doug had a brilliant idea: Let’s do a family photo shoot at a restaurant! I was not going to complain about that, especially if there were garlic knots involved… So we went to Primo Pizza off Nimmo Parkway and ate up! We started off there, got some fun shots of the kids and of the food and then moved over to a park nearby for some more craziness. Check it out!

Hope you enjoyed!

The Radiant Team

Dan and Jackie got married on May 5, 2012. We tried to fit in their engagement session before the wedding but the weather was not on our side. So we decided it would be fine to wait until after they got back from their honeymoon to do their portrait session. And we are glad we did. The day was perfect. We took a stroll through Norfolk Waterside and made our way to Voila for dinner. She really wanted to show off her new Michael Kors gifts from her husband and I was all about that. I LOVED it all; from the bag to the shoes to the sunglasses to her beautiful smelling perfume and cute lipgloss, she was stylin’! It was a beautiful night and the dinner was incredible. Thanks Dan & Jackie!
