Parker Joy is so cute! we did another photo session with Parker because we just can’t get enough! These are some of the last photos of her sweet little webbed toe on the end. She is getting them separated – I guess if I had 2 of my toes together at birth I would have wanted my parents to separate mine too. Parker was so expressive and I cannot believe how much she’s grown in just 2 weeks time!
Here are some of our favorites from the photo session:
I met Ben + Katie a few months ago after the bridal show. Katie said she went to the bridal show with her sister back in January and they saw our booth and loved us (bonus!). She dragged Ben into my office and he was a great sport (even though he was a little under the weather!). We planned out their vision for their upcoming November wedding, as well as the hilarious idea they had for their engagement film – coming soon!
For their engagement session, we decided to do what would be normal in their every day lives – take the dogs for a walk. Denim + Tessa are gorgeous dogs! We went to Colonial Williamsburg to walk around and enjoy the scenery. We used the Tilt-Shift lens which made the images look dreamy.
Here are a few of our favorites:
Wayyy back in January, which feels like ages ago.. I did a bridal show called Uniquely Yours Bridal Showcase and we did a raffle for brides to enter their name and email in hopes to win a free engagement session with Radiant…
Well… drum roll please…. Brittany + Shawn were one of the 3 winners! When it came time for me to call and break the exciting news to them, I was SUPER nervous! I didn’t want her to think it was a scam, or some way to get them to buy photos, or anything at all. It was truly a FREE engagement session, they get the to keep all of the photos, and brag to their friends and family as much as they want. Once I finished stumbling through my written statement… yes I wrote it down.. she finally got it and was excited (as I hoped!) and we went back and forth with emails to schedule an official date for the shoot!
Brittany mentioned something about how much she loved animals and wanted to incorporate them in a non-weird way. I then suggested some ways.. maybe they were weird.. maybe they weren’t.. and we finally settled on the Norfolk Zoo. Now.. I was more excited than they were because I had never been to the Norfolk Zoo.. So when we met there, it was fate that brought us together because neither one of us had each other’s phone numbers (we were just going by email!) So I saw this couple parked next to me who looked nicely dressed.. about the age I would assume a newly engaged couple would be.. and I just flat out said “Hi! Are you Brittany?” and sure enough it was them! We pretty much had the zoo all to ourselves. It was a beautiful, yet chilly, day and I am so happy I met them (:
Here are my favorite shots from the day, along with a couple of silly ones:
Parker Joy Watson. What a beautiful name! She’s here, in the world. It was insane! It was like one minute I’m talking to Sarah with a pregnant belly waiting for the pain killers to kick in.. then about 25 minutes later, Jason is walking down the hall pushing a baby in a plastic container. It was absolutely mind blowing. Sarah said it all set in when she heard her first loud cry. I was teary eyed keeping it together when I saw her for the first time. Parker’s grandparents were overwhelmed with joy.
It was a beautiful thing to be a part of and I am so lucky to have been there!
At 8 pounds and 4.8 ounces, 20.8 inches long and healthy as a horse, I present to you Parker Joy Watson:
Sarah + Jason are thrilled.. as they should be.
Hope you Enjoyed!

So I met Jill a few months ago, and there are no words to describe her but fantastic. When we are together or even on the phone, we can’t stop talking! I feel like we’ve been friends for years. A little that I’ve learned about Jill: She originally started a company called Little Kitchen Cupcakes, and let me tell you, she makes a mean set of cupcakes! But a couple of years ago, Jill married her soul mate and designed a gorgeous day. She loved doing it so much, that she kept going with it! She then decided to launch Sunkissed Events & Design. They specialize in creative, one of a kind weddings and events to make your dream day become a reality. Not only do they organize your inspirations and ideas, they make everything happen so you can enjoy your day with everyone. From designing place cards, to koozie logos, to sewing table runners, to finding the right vendors, Sunkissed Events loves anything- party! Jill is the heart of the company and she is truly amazing. She is launching her site soon, and needed a few shots for her “about me” section. Here are a couple of my favorite shots from the day:

Well, Ash got married day yesterday, and I have never seen her more happy (and nauseous) at the same time. Josh is perfect for her. He is a great father and so sweet to Ashton. After all the stresses of the day subsided, they were both so happy. Here are a few shots from their day, more to come. Stay tuned!

Sarah is one of my favorite people on earth. I have known her for about 11+ years of my life. She is one of those people where you haven’t seen each other in months or maybe even a year, and we pick up right where we left off every time! Her husband Jason is hilarious. He couldn’t be more perfect for her. Somehow, the Maryland redneck made his way down to Virginia Beach and wooed his way into Sarah’s heart. Their baby, Parker, is due in March and I am so excited to be there for all the action… just in case Jason passes out and misses it (hehe). Not only are they an incredible couple, they are BUSY too! Between our schedules there just isn’t much time to fit in a photo session and by-gon-it (got that saying from Jason) we were gonna take these photos before Parker was born! Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, but we still had a blast!
Hope you enjoyed!

It’s February and love is in the air. What better way to show love than a fun valentine’s day themed shoot? Molly, Caitlin, Jeremy, Bo Dog and I all worked so hard to get this little guy smiling and having fun for our shoot. We had so much fun and Molly is excited to send out the valentine’s cards to friends and family. Interested in doing a shoot like Jack’s? Visit our site and contact us!
Lollipops made Jack smile.
Jack goofin’ around.
Jack what faces are you making? “Faces like dadoo!”
Jack handing out hearts to all us ladies.
We had so much and fun and I can’t wait for the next Valentine’s Day shoots!
Hope you enjoyed.

Dave and Krysten are one of the cutest couples I’ve ever met. He is quirky and she is so sweet! Krysten was so inspired by “The Kiss” by Alfred Eisenstaedt in 1945, so we did our best to re-capture it at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront! They brought a few different looks and we were able to go adventure near the Virginia Marine Science Museum for more fun shots:
